Wow, I've always known there were different types of angels.. but well.. i finally researched deep enough into it. Its quite elaborate actually.

Angels-3Groups: Higher, Intermediate, Lower -9Classes

Higher:

1)Seraphims 2)Cherubims 3)Erelims(Thrones)

Intermediate:

4)Dominions 5)Virtues 6)Principalities

Lower:

7)Powers 8)Archangels 9)Angels

Lucifer was the best of them all. The best Seraphim. Just so you know how powerful it depicts. An angel, the lowest of all in the order, has the power to tear down mountains and raze the oceans(remembered reading about it somewhere in the bible, correct me if im wrong).
The Nephilim were angels who walked on the earth, probably fallen angels or angels who just decided to live on earth. During long ancient times. They had intercourse with humans and their decendants were known as the Anak. Goliath himself was one of the decendants of the Anak.
Goliath was mighty strong, a hero cum tyrant in his own nation. The entire of israel shook under the challenge of this 1 man. Only King david had courage enough to take him down.

So trace it all back to the Seraphims. What does it dictate to be the strongest of them all. Lucifer, rather Satan should not be taken or made light of. But also, I would like to suggest to you that Satan, powerful as he is, was no creator. God made all, including Satan. Satan rebelled against God with his legion of angels. He got thrashed and sent spiralling down into the depths of the Earth. Fear the Lord, for it is the beginning of Wisdom.
