Haiz.. today is th last day of school for the year.. EOY holidays ^^ 2 weeks T.T

This morning while going to school in the MRT, a man in his 50's or 60's boarded the and sat beside me. He asked me where was Sengkang station. I told him it was on the purple line, he discussed out loud to himself and probably to me as well >.< lol. wheter to alight at woodlands, khatib or yio chu kang for a bus transfer. After many "yeas" & "uh huhs" from me, he decided to alight at Yio Chu Kang for the transfter.

Following that, he started a conversation with me, through which i found out that he had been a fairly wealthy man, however, he had lost millions of dollars, rather almost his entire assets to the reccession last year. He had lost all his money, savings, company, shares, invesments, even his house and his car! He told me that without Jesus he would have been dead. GOD had appeared in his youngest son's dream, and when he awoke his son refused to go to school. True enough, on that day he collapsed and had to sent to the hospital. He had apparently swallowed 40 over pills. He told me not to do that ( like I will). But he said that life goes on, His 1st car was BMW, so was his 2nd, following that a Merce, and more Merces after that, and alas public transport today. But he told me, life goes on. Infact, he find that public transport is much more relaxing rather than driving your own vehicle. He was now probably going around looking for odd jobs, (but i daren;t probe too much, infact i was just listening to his story ^^).

I consoled him after that, stating that he was fortunate that he only had 1 son left to support as the older 2 were self-sufficient. Apparently he had no need for my words of consolation. Instead he told me: "Dream big. Life goes on. Nothing will last forever. Everything man will die one day. So follow your passion, follow where the lord leads you. You'll never regret."

For a man who has tasted both success and failure in his long life, i feel that this statement is one that can be counted on ^^ thats all out~!
